RICHMOND, KY—The East Kentucky Leadership Foundation is now accepting leadership award nominations for its 33rd annual conference. The event theme is Stories of Hope. The conference will take place April 23-24 in Corbin, with an awards ceremony Thursday evening at the Corbin Arena.

Each year, the East Kentucky Leadership Foundation hosts an awards ceremony to recognize individuals and groups demonstrating exemplary leadership and service to the region. Awards are given in the following categories: Culture and Arts, Media and Technology, Organization, Public Individual, Private Individual and Youth Leadership. The Tony Turner Award, not offered every year, recognizes an individual, group, or organization that has demonstrated major contributions to the region.

Those who know someone deserving of recognition are encouraged to submit nominations using the online form on the EKLF website: eklf.org. Award category descriptions and a list of previous winners are also available on the site. A mail-in ballot is also available to print off and must be postmarked by the February 24th deadline.

Additional information about the upcoming conference is available at eklf.org. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. For more information regarding the 2020 conference, contact Paul Doyle, Conference Chair: pdole@kceoc.com.
