MANCHESTER, Ky. - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 11 Office advises motorists that the Jellico Creek Bridge on KY 92 (mile point 3.0) will be closed beginning today due to the condition of steel stringer beams supporting the deck.
All traffic will be detoured to U.S. 25W to KY 90 through the Cumberland Falls State Resort Park into McCreary County at U.S. 27, north of Whitley City and Stearns.
The bridge closure will be in place until repairs can be made. The repairs are expected to take up to six weeks.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expected delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
