CORBIN — Times-Tribune

Staff Report

One man was killed in a tractor-trailer crash on northbound Interstate 75 about 5 p.m. Monday just past mile marker 37.

All three northbound lanes were shut down after the crash. Emergency responders were initially concerned about the contents of the tanker but the freight was deemed nonhazardous.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reported two lanes reopened about 5:45 p.m., but the third  lane remains closed.

The crash is under investigation by Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement.

See Tuesday's edition of the Times-Tribune for more details about the crash.
