CORBIN — Woman extricated from car after crash

A Williamsburg woman had to be extricated from her car after she crashed it into a creek in Whitley County Thursday afternoon.

Airport orientation is Saturday

Officials at the London-Corbin Airport say their facility is one of the gateways to the Tri-County. For many of those who fly in, it’s their first impression of the area. And the airport wants to be a key player in the growth and development of the two cities.

Williams nominated for judgeship

It was probably the least surprising news in recent Kentucky politics but a judicial nominating committee Thursday named David Williams as one of three nominees for a vacant judgeship in the 40th Circuit.

One released, one still in hospital
