Incumbent candidate for Whitley County Judge/Executive Pat White Jr. got to keep his seat Tuesday after the primary election results were tallied — but he will be faced with a new fiscal court next term.

Grammy nominated singer John Waite has joined the 2014 NIBROC musical lineup. The Lancaster, England born rock star will take the NIBROC stage at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, according to Southern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Director Bruce Carpenter.

    It’s never too early to talk about what games will be the big ones for the Tri-County high school football fans to watch this upcoming season. I’ve tried to narrow my list down to 10 games, but honestly, it really wasn’t easy to do — but I did manage to do it.
