Pat White Jr. keeps Whitley Judge/Exec seat

Incumbent candidate for Whitley County Judge/Executive Pat White Jr. got to keep his seat Tuesday after the primary election results were tallied — but he will be faced with a new fiscal court next term.

The North Laurel All-Stars represented Kentucky at the Little League Softball Central Region Tournament in Indianapolis, Indiana. The team lost three straight games and was eliminated from the tournament.

    Recil Jones’ North Laurel 11-12 year-old All-Stars finished their stay in the Central Region Tournament with an 0-3 record after dropping a 9-4 decision to Wisconsin state champion Franklin Little League.
