Trosper man sentenced in strangulation, beating murder

KNOX COUNTY — A man charged in connection with the 2012 strangulation and beating murder of Jonathan Ryan Foley has now officially been sentenced.

George Marcum, 54, of Trosper, was sentenced to 10 years in prison Friday by Judge Tom Jensen in Knox County Circuit Court as per a plea agreement.
