DANVILLE — The Lynn Camp Wildcats seemed as fresh as ever despite playing their fifth game in a week Tuesday during their 71-33 win over the Kentucky School for the Deaf.

The Wildcats (5-5) took charge early in the first quarter and never looked back. Skylar McFarland paced the way with two-three pointers and eight points to give his team a commanding 21-4 lead in the first quarter. McFarland finished the game with 16 points and four three-pointers.

“It was a good win on the road,” Lynn Camp coach Clyde Dixon said. “Skylar McFarland was four-of-five shooting from three-point range and he led a balanced-scoring attack with 16 points. Freshman Austin Maier had 11, Gary Swafford and Zach Smith 10 each. It was a positive tune-up game with a tough opening game against Owensboro Catholic coming up on Thursday at the Monticello Tournament.”

Lynn Camp led 31-16 at halftime and used a 25-3 run during the third quarter to wrap-up the win.McFarland added eight more points during the third frame while Zach Smith and Austin Meir each added six points apiece.
