ORLANDO, FLA. — Jennifer Parsons’ Corbin Lady Redhounds ended their trip to the Sunshine State in fine fashion by picking up an easy 64-33 win over Alabama’s Pisgah High School Monday.

Corbin (10-6) led 17-11 in the first quarter before putting the game out of reach with a 22-2 run during the second frame while building a commanding 39-13 edge at halftime.

Freshman guard Jaclyn Jewell suffered a hand injury during the game, but still managed to turn in an impressive effort by connecting on all six of her three-point attempts while leading the way for the Lady Redhounds with a 22-point scoring effort.

“We finished the tourney on a good note with a great win against an athletic Alabama team,” Parsons said. “We made a great run in the second quarter to extend our lead.”
