The South Laurel Lady Cardinals started the 2012-13 basketball season on a high note Monday, using a 70-48 win to move to 1-0 on the season.

Lady Tigers rout Jellico on the road

The Barbourville Lady Tigers handled Jellico, Tenn. with ease during the summer and that might have led to them overlooking the Lady Blue Devils heading into Monday’s contest, according to coach Andrea Hillard.
