ONEIDA, TENN. — Corbin coach Eric Steely wasn’t too happy after seeing his Lady Redhound soccer team drop a 4-2 decision to Oneida, Tenn. Thursday.

“We didn’t get off the bus,” he said. “We just stood around with very little intensity and little effort. It did (surprise me) — very much so.”

Corbin was coming off an 8-3 win from just a couple of days ago, but could never get things going Thursday. “I thought we would check off the bus, but it never happened.

“We need to use this as a wake-up call and take it as such.”

Kaitlyn Waddle scored both goals in the loss for Corbin.

The Lady Redhounds will be back in action Saturday at Danville.
