Corbin improves to 14-6 with easy win

CORBIN — By Chris Parsons / Staff Writer

CORBIN — The Corbin Lady Redhounds improved to 14-6 on the season Thursday, thanks to a 2-0 (25-15 and 25-19) win over visiting Lincoln County.

Though they picked up the victory, the Lady Redhounds had to do it without two of their starters as Chelsea Brock and Carley Jackson sat out the match. Corbin coach Liberty Roberts gave credit to her bench for picking up the slack in a time when it was needed.

“We had two starters out so I had to start a freshman (Katie Douglas), but I thought the girls really did a good job under the circumstances,” Roberts said.
