CLAY COUNTY —The North Laurel Jaguars tennis team picked up a 7-2 win over Clay County Thursday, while the Lady Jaguars held a 4-3 lead when play was suspended due to darkness.
North Laurel coach Bob Smith said the match was a typical battle between his Jaguars and Clay County, but this time his squad went a little deeper than the home team.
“We had a couple close losses in singles, but we were deeper at the bottom of the lineup,” Smith said.
