BEREA — The Corbin Lady Redhounds won their second game in a row and third during the past four by defeating Berea 3-2 Thursday. Eric Steely’s squad was coming off an 11-1 win on Wednesday against Whitley County, and didn’t waste any time taking control of their contest against Berea.
The Lady Redhounds jumped out to a 2-0 lead before holding on for the one-goal win. Maddie Thompson scored two goals in the win while Morgan Boggs added one. Kaitlyn addle assisted all three goals for Corbin.
“We led throughout, but we didn’t play very well today,” Steely said. “We relied on a lot of individual play today. But the good thing is that we came away with the win.”
