Now it’s time to get to the nitty, gritty. Yep, you guessed it, it’s time to pick who will be the district champions in each respective district, except for the 49th District which will be played on Friday. I’m still doing pretty good. I’m 14-2 so far and that’s a good winning percentage.

The Lady Jaguars are improving at the right time. Coach Eddie Mahan has done a fantastic job with his young team, but look for Jackson County to hang around for a while before falling in the end.
Clay County 72, Oneida Baptist 37
It won’t take long for the Lady Tigers to take control of the game thanks to the play of Ajaycia Cotton and the Clay County inside game. Look for the Lady Tigers to roll.
Whitley County 61, Corbin 59
It’s going to be hard for the Lady Colonels to pick up a win on Corbin’s home floor, but Whitley County looks like a team that’s on a mission. The key of the game might just be how the Lady Colonels respond coming out in the second half.
Barbourville 56, Lynn Camp 45
Yep, I changed my pick. Earlier in the week I went with Lynn Camp, but with the way the Lady Tigers looked and played against Pineville, I’ve gotta go with Barbourville. I’m pretty sure the Lady Wildcats will try to slow things down, but in the end, I believe the seniors for the Lady Tigers will find a way to pull things out. It should be a dandy of a game.
Bell County 69, Harlan 54
Harlan surprised many by upending Harlan County, but the Lady Green Dragons will need to play a near-perfect game to knock off Bell County. The Lady Bobcats have too many offensive weapons for Harlan to pull off a second upset in a row.
