HARLAN COUNTY — The Corbin Lady Redhounds picked up their eighth the season with a 7-4 win over Harlan County.

Hannah Hart picked up the win, striking out 10 batters and walking none in the complete game with all four Harlan County runs being unearned.

Hart did her job at the plate as well, finishing the game with a 3-for-4 effort, while Whitley Gatliff helped the cause by going 2-for-4. Kelly Farley and Katie Bernardo added an RBI apiece on one hit apiece.

After the win, Corbin coach Chris Hart said he was pleased with the effort.

“We came over here and beat a pretty good team that hits well and pitches well,” Hart said. “Our kids came out and played well on both sides and got the job done.”
