WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg Lady Yellow Jackets found a way to stay warm during Thursday’s 23-1 win over district rival Whitley County — they never sat still.

North Laurel keeps perfect record intact

NORTH LAUREL — The North Laurel Jaguar and Lady Jaguar tennis teams  opened the season with wins by defeating Oneida Baptist on Tuesday while the Jaguars knocked off Bell County Wednesday.

Williamsburg falls to Corbin

CORBIN — The Williamsburg Lady Yellow Jacket tennis team dropped their season-opener against Corbin, losing in match play 9-0.

Redhounds roll

DANVILLE — Cold temperatures didn’t stop the Corbin Redhounds from picking up an easy 8-1 win over Danville.

Whitley sweeps South Laurel

SOUTH LAUREL — The Whitley County Colonel and Lady Colonel tennis teams both picked up wins by defeating South Laurel in tennis action.

Yellow Jackets move on to title game

WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg Yellow Jackets improved to 6-0 Thursday with a 12-8 win over Harlan, securing a spot in the 13th Region All ‘A’ Classic against Middlesboro today at home.
