Lady Cardinals win program's seventh straight district title

LONDON — It was lucky number seven Thursday for the South Laurel Lady Cardinals as Todd White’s squad took home its seventh straight district title after a 3-0 win over Corbin in the 49th District Tournament finals.

North Laurel holds Redhounds scoreless in district finals, win 2-0

LONDON — The North Laurel Jaguars may have come into the 49th District Championship game against Corbin as the underdogs, but Mark Acampa's team left the game with the trophy after a 2-0 win.
