CASEY COUNTY — The Lynn Camp Wildcats saw their five-game winning streak come to an end after dropping a 68-39 decision to a Casey County team they had just beaten a couple of days before by four points (54-50).

The Wildcats (14-12) struggeled offensively the entire game and found themselves trailing 15-9 after the first quarter and 31-20 at halftime before being outscored 37-19 during the game's final 16 minutes.

"Tonight may have been the worst overall effort by a Lynn Camp team in three years," Lynn Camp coach Clyde Dixon said. "We had almost as many turnovers (30) as we did points. We shot 15-of-52 from the field and never had our head in the game.

"We actually seemed intimidated by Casey County for no reason, when we had just beaten them Monday" he added. "Our team has to dig deep inside themselves, refocus and finish the season strong. I hope they have it in them to do so. We all took a giant step backwards tonight."

Skylar McFarlan led Lynn Camp with a 12-point scoring effort.
