Virgina Tech Shooting | By Stephanie J. Hammons It was to be a normal spring day, The 16th of April, the freshness of May. Students to college, learning to bound, Making their future, to spread all around. No one would leave, feeling the same that day, It came as a surprise, a fellow student caused a fray. He walked right in, as calm as you please, And started shooting others, down to their knees. He showed no prejudice, only malice towards all, Boys, girls, teachers, killing everyone he saw. They said he was shy, and backwards to peers, Thanks to that quality, it caused the schools?worst fears. America cries, as it watches the future go, Virginia Tech shooter, killing all we know. Thirty students and teachers, never left that place, Husbands, children, parents, never to show their face. One normal spring day, till one student lost his head, Thirty American citizens, for many tears we shed. They say that time heals all things, they say our hearts will mend, Though we?l think about them always, and learn from what? been.
