Billy Gibson

CORBIN — Billy Hugh “Hoot” Gibson, age 77, of Louisville, formerly of Corbin, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, in Louisville. He had been a locomotive engineer for L&N/CSX Railroad with 42 years of service.

His survivors include three daughters, Felicia, Billi and Rachel, five grandchildren and his companion and caregiver, Janet Karr.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. Dec. 6, 2012, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tommy Storm officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hart Funeral Home located at 1011 Master St., Corbin.
