Mary Prewitt

CORBIN —

Mary Prewitt, age 65, of Georgetown, Ohio, and formerly of Emlyn, departed this life on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on Feb. 5, 1947, to the late Edd Ball and Mae Marsee Ball.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Prewitt, of Georgetown, Ohio; three children, Timothy Prewitt and Lisa Prewitt, of Georgetown, Ohio, and Anita Wagner, of Felicity, Ohio; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Irene Beams, Gail Sawyers, Martha Jarboe and Helen Creekmore; three brothers, Roger Ball, Rev. Virgil Ball and John Ball; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

 Local visitation will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at the Hamersville Pentecostal Church of God, 1829 State Route 125, Hamersville, Ohio.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at the Croley Funeral Home in Williamsburg.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Virgil Ball officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Emlyn Cemetery in Emlyn.
