Cliff Helton, age 75, of Corbin, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. He was born Jan. 2, 1937, in Knox County to the late Charles F. Helton and the late Ellen Black Helton.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Belew Helton.
He is survived by three children, Leisley Helton Glaser (Herb), of Virginia Beach, Va., Autumn Helton Karr (Charlie), of Alexandria, and Aaron Helton, of Corbin; four sisters, Janice Kinman, of Corbin, Carolyn Smith, of London, and Barbra Evan, of Ontario, Canada, Doris Carty, Middletown, Ohio; one brother, Doug Helton, of Cranes Nest; five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at the O’Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Browning and Bro. Bert Smith officiating. Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Worley Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour on Wednesday.
