Mark Lahner


Mr. Mark Lahner, age 55, husband of Sheila, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Baptist Health Corbin.

Mark entered into this life on Aug. 20, 1957, in Warren, Ohio, the son of Walter and Juanita Naylor Lahner, both of whom preceded him in death. He was united in marriage to Sheila Scott on April 20, 1989, and they shared a wonderful life together. Mark was a truck driver and will be remembered for his love of working on his land and home and for the love he had for his family.

Mark will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sheila Lahner, of Corbin; two sons, Jamey Bowman (Melissa), of Harlan, and Mark Bowman (Jeanne), of London; a daughter, DeAnndra Storm (Justin), of Corbin; 11 grandchildren, Megan Eversole, Sierra Bowman, Desiree Bowman, Travis Stamper, Kristen Bowman, Gavin Bowman, Carlee Bowman, Jacob Bowman, Aaron Bowman, Caylee Bowman and Braxton Storm; two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Zoie Eversole; a brother, Larry Lahner (Shirley), of Pierpont, Ohio; four sisters, Virginia Weagraff (Bill), of Ashtabula, Ohio, Juanita Lahner, of Daytona Beach, Fla., Daryl Yutze (Alton), of Orwell, Ohio, and Linda Stohler (Al), of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and a host of friends and neighbors.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Juanita Naylor Lahner, and a sister, Sandy Hurley.

 Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Corbin Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Lahner Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, from 1-2 p.m. at the Corbin Funeral Home.
