Oneida Smith

CORBIN —

Oneida Nell Smith, of Williamsburg, departed this life on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville, Tenn. She was 65 years, 3 months, and 17 days of age. She was born on July 30, 1947, in Jellico, Tenn., to the late Roy Cecil Reeves and Nona Wilson Reeves. She was a member of the Mulberry Community Church.

She is survived by her husband, Bennie Wayne Smith, of Williamsburg; two sons, Russell Smith (Loretta) and Cecil Griffith, all of Williamsburg; five grandchildren, Donna Smith, Hannah Griffith, Jessica Smith, C.J. Griffith, and Kaitlyn Griffith; two brothers, Robert Carl Reeves and (Susan), of Scotsburg, Ind., and David Reeves (Louella), of Williamsburg; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today (Monday, Nov. 19, 2012) at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Baute and Rev. Osha Wilson officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Smith Cemetery on Louden Road in Williamsburg.
