Pearl Mahan

CORBIN — Pearl N. Mahan, age 77, of Corbin, passed away Aug. 19, 2013, in Hamilton Ohio. She was born in Whitley County to the late Adam and Gertrude Laxton Shelton.

She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church of Corbin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Mahan, and son, Eddie Mahan, two sisters, Dorothy Mahan and Cindy Mayfield, and two brothers, Homer and Floyd Shelton.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Frazier and husband David, of Hamilton, Ohio; three sisters, Alberta Stanifer and husband Paul, of Hamilton, Ohio, Grace Mount and husband Sonny, of Corbin, and Alma Cox and husband Claude, of Gatliff; special nephew, Michael Mahan; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at the O’Neil-Lawson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Evans Officiating. With Burial following at the Rest Haven Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 24, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m at the O’Neil-Lawson Funeral Home.
