Phillip Eugene Hodge was born Sept. 25, 1956, and departed this life on Sunday, March 24, 2013, at his home. He lived to be 56 years, 5 months and 29 days of age.

Born Sept. 25, 1956, in Corbin, he was the son of the late Arnold and Roberta Hodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Hodge.

Survivors include his daughter, Crystal Hodge Behar and husband Georgio, of Royal Palm Beach, Fla.; and seven siblings: Don Hodge, of Alexandria, Yvonne Rednour and husband Oscar, of Lakeland, Fla., Louise Browning and husband Jesse, of Falmouth, Harley Hodge, of Corinth, Phyllis Hubbard and husband Wade, of London, Frances Stephenson and husband Todd, of Morning View, and Sheila Mullins and husband Daryl, of Butler, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in McHargue Cemetery at Lily, with brothers and nephews serving as pallbearers.

The family of Phillip Eugene Hodge will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m. Friday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
