Neveada Patton

CORBIN — Neveada Patton was born on June 25th, 1937 in Laurel County, the daughter of Harvey and Effie Large Brock who preceded her in death.

She was united in marriage to Rance Edward Patton who survives. She is also survived by four children, Darrell Patton and wife Janet and Rena Karr and husband David, both of Lily, Debbie Snell and husband Barry, of Somerset, and Shellane Jones, of London, two brothers, Arthur Brock, of Hamilton, Ohio, and Willis Brock, of Dennison, Texas, one sister, Eula Mae Kidd, of London, seven grandchildren, Daniel, Joe, and Josh Patton, Mike, Brad Karr, Kellie Swanner, and Logan Snell, 12 great-grandchildren, Misty, Kylie, Tara, Jason, Steven, and Gavin Patton, Hunter and Cody Karr, Kyla Pitts, Izaac, Eden and Jaron Swanner, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by siblings, Earl, Arvil, Kenneth Gene, and Steelie Brock, and a grandchild, Travis Park Desurne.

She was a retired waitress and a member of the Lily Holiness Church.

Neveada Patton departed this life on Tuesday, Nov. 5th, 2013 being 76 years, 4 months and 10 days of age.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at Bowling Funeral Home with John Carter officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Memorial  Gardens at Lily.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at Bowling Funeral Home.
