Johnny Phillips Jr.

CORBIN — Johnny Phillips Jr., of Prewitt Bend Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at Knox County Hospital in Barbourville. He was 47 years, 9 months, and 16 days of age. He was born on Dec. 29, 1965, in Bell County, to Lettie Poston Phillips and the late Johnny Phillips Sr.

In addition to his father; he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Phillips and Earl Phillips.

He is survived by his mother, Lettie Phillips, of Williamsburg; a sister, Tammy Sharp, of Williamsburg; two nieces, Jessica Phillips, of Williamsburg, and Priscilla Sharp, of Lafayette, Tenn.; two great-nieces, Tiffany Phillips and Destiny Teague; a great-nephew, Tyler Teague; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Mullins officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Highland Cemetery in Williamsburg.
