Wilburn Hickey


Rev. Wilburn Hickey, of Hwy. 904, Williamsburg, departed this life on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the Williamsburg Health and Rehab Center in Williamsburg. He was 82 years, 3 months, and 23 days of age. He was born on Nov. 8, 1930, in Whitley County to the late Pleas Hickey Sr. and Sidney Dotson Hickey.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Rains Hickey, of the Nevisdale Community, Williamsburg; two daughters, Pamela Dotson (Randy), of Williamsburg,  and Patricia Gayle Rose of Dayton, Ohio; two grandsons, Kyle Dotson and Levi Dotson, both of the Nevisdale Community, Williamsburg; two granddaughters, Mystie Rose and Christy Rose, both of Dayton, Ohio; one brother, Bill Hickey (Kathleen), of Piqua, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Harley Rose Powers and Hunter Rose, both of Dayton, Ohio; five sisters-in-law, Naomi Hickey, of Dayton, Ohio, Kathleen Hickey, of Pique, Ohio, Betty Lane (Frances), of Dayton, Ohio, Bonnie Sizemore (Jim) of Dayton, Ohio, and Barbara Griggs (Jim); and many other nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be from 10 am. until the funeral hour on Wednesday, March 6, 2103, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 1  p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Logan officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Croley Addition of the Highland Park Cemetery.
