Freda Forth

CORBIN —

Freda Delena Forth, age 80, of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013. She was born Aug. 19, 1932, in Williamsburg to the late Charles Herman and Hazel Vivian (Dopel) Satterfield. Freda was a 1949 graduate of Wallins High School in Wallins Creek,  then went on to attend Cumberland College. She worked at Extermital Chemical for several years then worked for Troy Pearl Laundry. Freda loved to cook, crochet, needlepoint and enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Worley.

Freda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard A. Forth; children, Lisa R. Forth, of Kettering, and Richard C. (Teresa) Forth, of Eaton; brothers, Kenneth, Donald, Robert and William Satterfield; sister, Betty Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering.

Family will greet friends following the service until 4 p.m.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Hospice of Dayton for all the care and compassion they gave to Freda and the entire Forth family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 3797 Summit Glen Rd. No. G100, Dayton, OH 45449.
