Lee Walker

CORBIN —

Lee Etta Moses Walker, of Spruce Creek Road, Corbin, departed this life on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was 71 years, 11 months, and 2 days of age. She was born on Feb. 27, 1941, in Whitley County, to the late Sam H. Moses and Polly Moses. She is also preceded in death by her son, Terry Lay; her brothers, H.D. Moses, Samuel Moses Jr., M.A. Moses, and B.C. Moses; and sisters, Cynthia Moses and Nancy Moses.

She is survived by her husband, Harmon Walker, of Corbin; four children, Tonka Lay, of Corbin, Timmy Lay, of London, Harmon Walker Jr., of London, and Kimberly Ann Walker Burns (Carl), of West Salem, Ohio; two grandchildren, Jacob Walker, of Montegut, La., and Anthony Walker; one sister, Mattie Shelley, of Williamsburg; one brother, George Moses (Shelby), of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews including Marsha Bird and Wayne Bird, both of Williamsburg; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Long officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Emlyn Cemetery.
