Carl Anderson

Carl E. Anderson, 56, of Williamsburg, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at the Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge, Tenn.

For many years Carl worked with his brother as a heavy equipment operator. He continued to use his skills and later he formed the Carl Anderson Construction Company. He attended the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church at Lot Mud Creek in Williamsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glennus and Wilma Anderson, two brothers, Johnny and Mike Anderson, and a sister, Lois Ann Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Huckaby Anderson, of Williamsburg; one daughter, Tamera Anderson, of Williamsburg; one son, Carl Lynn Anderson (April), of White Oak, Tenn.; one granddaughter, Kaylee Anderson, of Williamsburg; a brother, Ken Anderson (Linda), of Williamsburg; four sisters, Orpha Brink, of Knoxville, Tenn., Helen Smith (Tommy), of Knoxville, Tenn., Connie Wells (Darryl), of Williamsburg, and Mary Whitaker, of Williamsburg; and several nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at the Ellison Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Carroll, the Rev. Bernie Lambdin and the Rev. Lonnie Maiden will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Anderson-Siler Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013.

Ellison Funeral Home of Williamsburg is in charge of these arrangements.
