Ronnie Baker, of Baker Cemetery Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. He was 56 years, 6 months, and 5 days of age. He was born on July 3, 1956, in Jellico, Tenn., to the late Walter Baker Sr. and Estell Baker. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Polly Goins and Vickie Gabby; and a brother, Marshall Baker..
He is survived by his wife, Janet Lewis Baker, of Williamsburg; two children, Jonathan Baker (Andrea), of Williamsburg, and Heather Burton (Barry), of Russell Springs; three grandchildren, Victoria, Allison and Kolby; two brothers, Billy Baker (Dorothy), of Williamsburg, and Rick Baker (Gail), of Ewing, Va.; three sisters, Jewell Veares and Peggy Siler (Dan), all of Defiance, Ohio, and Lynn Sroga (Steve), of Delta, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wade Carpenter officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Baker Cemetery in Williamsburg.
