Pauline Pippin, age 90 years, of Benham, left this earthly world for her heavenly home on Friday, April 19, 2013, at the Laurel Heights Care Facility in London. She was born Sept. 9, 1922, to the late Gracie and Columbus Cummins of Benham. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Cumberland. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Pippin; brothers, Russell Cummins, Kenneth Cummins and Curtis Cummins; and sisters, Lillian Creech, Helen Deal and Reva Hunt.
She is survived by her children, Lynn Edward Pippin (Linda), of Ocean Springs, Miss., Brenda Estep (Charles), of Corbin, and Bruce Pippin (Debbie), of Richmond; brother, Ray Cummins, of Louisville; grandchildren, Lance Pippin, Chad Estep, Shane Pippin, Lane Pippin, Jason Estep and Tenille Johnson; great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Katie, Maddox, Christian, Chase, Cady, Belle, Mallory, Camden, Rose and Bret; and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends in the chapel of the Tri City Funeral Home in Benham on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Roger Colinger and the Rev. Bruce Walzer. Interment will follow in the Benham Cemetery in Benham.
Pallbearers are Lance Pippin, Chad Estep, Jason Estep, Lane Pippin, Shane Pippin and Mickey Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 118 Central Street, Cumberland, KY 40823 or the Laurel Heights Care Facility, PO Box 1800, 208 West 12th Street, London, KY 40743-1800.
