Homer Dizney

CORBIN — Homer L. Dizney, 84, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013 in Louisville.

He was a native of Corbin, retired from American Air Filter and an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his children, Venica and John (Janet); grandchildren, Sarah, Sadie and Jacklyn; brother, Chester; sisters, Violet Willis and Ruth Brian, and a special niece and her daughter, Glynda Kelso and Rene Kelso.

His funeral is noon Thursday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville with burial in Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday.
