Bonnie Lawson


Bonnie Jean Lawson, of Williamsburg, departed this life on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was 84 years, 1 month, and 14 days of age. She was born on Aug. 23, 1928, in Whitley County, to the late Shelton Partin and Malinda Holloway Partin. She is also preceded in death by two sisters, Dessie West and Jessie Loveday; three brothers, Garrett Partin, Dewey Partin, and Woodrow Partin.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Reynolds (Ron), of Williamsburg; her son, Allan R. Lawson (Fonnie), of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren, John Reynolds, Ricky Lawson, Lauren Reynolds and Ethan Lawson; two great-grandsons, Ryan Lawson and Brady Lawson; one sister, Leora Petrey, of Williamsburg; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Powers officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Oaklawn Cemetery at Pleasant View, Kentucky.
