Terry Warren, 67, of Lily, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013, at his home. He was of the Baptist faith and was a Vietnam Army Veteran.
Born March 8, 1945, in Knox County, he was the son of the late Lewis and Ellen Warren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Lorene Warren, Betty Brown and Dorvill Webb; and four brothers: James Warren, Alvis Warren, Earl Ray Warren and Corb Lee Warren.
Survivors include his daughter, Terri Michelle Baker and husband Rob, of Athens, Tenn., and Terri Michelle’s mother, Barbara K. Soper, of Athens, Tenn.; his daughter, Caelin Swafford, of Lily; his daughter, Angela Dawn Warren; three stepdaughters: Kathy Fields and husband Rick, of London, Margaret Merida and husband David, of Flat Lick, and Lula Neely and husband Mark, of West Virginia; two grandchildren: Emileigh Brooke Baker, of Athens, Tenn., and Zachary Long Baker, of Athens, Tenn.; four stepchildren: James Swafford, of Jacksonville, Fla., David Clint Merida, of Flat Lick, Sammie Jo Cobb, of Turkey Creek, and Earl Dean Stegall Jr., of West Virginia; a very special, devoted companion who loved him deeply, Eleanor Mills; a sister, Ann Warren, of Lexington; and a brother, John Warren and wife Jo Ann, of Hamilton, Ohio; as well as other relatives and many friends, all who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Gilbert Cemetery at Girdler.
The family of Terry Warren will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Friday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
