Dakota Woolum

CORBIN —

Dakota “Cody” Keith Woolum, age 9 of Corbin, was born in Corbin on Jan. 31, 2004, to Rodney and Amber Miller Woolum and departed this life on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the Baptist Health hospital in Corbin. He was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed playing video games, riding bikes, camping, cars, and family time.

His maternal grandparents: Scott and Linda Miller grandfather: Roger Anderson; and grandmother: Patricia Gilbert preceded him in death.

Cody is survived by his loving parents: Rodney and Amber Woolum, of Corbin; a brother: David Ethan Hampshire, of Hinkle; aunt: Sara Miller of Corbin; two nieces: Hailey Creech and Taylor Miller, both of Corbin; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing,

Funeral services for Cody Woolum will be conducted on Friday, March 8, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.  Delmon Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Golden’s Creek Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Thursday evening from 5-9  p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to the funeral hour at 1 p.m.
