Rhonda Hatfield

CORBIN —

Rhonda Jean Hatfield, 59, of Corbin passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013.  She was a member of 17th Street Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Imogene Elliott Felts; her brother, Roy Lee Elliott; and infant sister, Helen Faye Elliott.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Hatfield; two daughters: Darlene Stidham and husband Jeff, of London, and Christy Pennington and husband Martin, of Corbin; two grandchildren: Kaley Stidham and Allie Pennington; two sisters: Christine Engle and husband Vernon, of Gray, and Judy Owens and husband Don, of Barbourville, along with several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends, all who mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bob Berry and Dave Futrell officiating.  Burial will follow in Gray Cemetery with Vernon Engle, Jr., Donnie Owens, Teddy Scalf, Ralph Gregory, Charles Marshall, and Marvin Craig serving as pallbearers.

The family of Rhonda Hatfield will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m.  Wednesday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
