Daniel Franklin Anderson, of Hwy 511, Corbin, departed this life on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at his home. He was 48 years, 3 months, and 22 days of age. He was born on Oct. 29, 1964, in Whitley County, to the late Thomas “T.J.” Anderson and Edna Parker Anderson. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Sue Moses; and brothers, Jerry Wayne Anderson, Norman Anderson, Carl Anderson and Virgil Anderson. He was a member of the Nevisdale Baptist Church.

He is survived by five sisters, Evelyn Wilson, Sarah Alice Bowlin (Henry), and Brenda K. Satterfield (Timmy), all of Williamsburg, Effie Bray (Garrett), of Corbin, and Wanda Faye Stephens (Bob), of Popular Creek; five brothers, George Anderson (Brenda), of Chatsworth, Ga., Tom Anderson (Trish), of Corbin, Glennis Anderson, William Robert Anderson (Beth) and Billy Ray Anderson (Robin), all of Williamsburg; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be at noon Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Floyd Hale officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Croley Addition of Highland Park Cemetery.
