Curtis L. Ferguson, of Fairborn, Ohio, and formerly of Williamsburg, departed this life on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at the Daysprings Nursing Home in Fairborn, Ohio. He was 84 years, 5 months, and 4 days of age. He was born May 21, 1929, in Williamsburg to the late William M. Ferguson and Bertha Griffiths Ferguson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Fay Burgher Ferguson.
He is survived by two sons, Matthew Dale Ferguson (Penny), of London, and Mark McKinley Ferguson (Donna), of Farmersville, Ohio; two daughters, Virginia Lawson, of Corbin, and Cynthia Boles, of Beavercreek, Ohio; two grandsons, Stephen Alexander, of Germantown, Ohio, Adam Alexander, of Beavercreek, Ohio; three granddaughters, Jessica Music and Sarah Lambdin, both of London, and Alisha Alexander, of Beavercreek, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Sue Ferguson, of White Hall, Tenn., and Ruth Ferguson, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glen Wilson officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Marlow Cemetery on Browns Creek in Williamsburg.
A memorial service will be held at Aley Methodist Church in Beavercreek, Ohio, at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013.
