Estle Ozene Lawson, of Wofford Church Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was 60 years, 10 months, and 23 days of age. He was born on Nov. 22, 1952, in Campbell County, Tenn. to Joanna Hill Lawson and the late Herman Estle Lawson. In addition to his father; he was also preceded in death by a brother, Marty Jackson. He was a deacon at Wofford Baptist Church of Williamsburg.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Lawson, of Williamsburg; one daughter, Christy Bolton (Jerry), of Corbin; one son, Jarrod Lawson (Ashley), of Corbin; four grandchildren, Kendra Bolton, Shelby Bolton, Eli Bolton and Blake Lawson; two great-grandchildren, Landyn Wagner and Isaac Ludington; his mother, Joanna Carr Sizemore, of Williamsburg; his father, Howard Jackson, of Williamsburg; five sisters, Sharon Brock (Glen), of Taylorsville, Lavona Lancaster (Paul), of Walton, Ena Mays (Dwight), of Williamsburg, Sue Martin (Gary), of Williamsburg, and Faye Jones, of Corbin; three brothers, Darrence Lawson, of Williamsburg, Junior Jackson (Terry), of Ohio, and Isaac Jackson, of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Bunch, the Rev. Paul Rhoades, the Rev. Joshua Bowman and Glen Brock officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Willoughby-Cupp Cemetery on Meadow Creek.
