Dorothy Roaden

CORBIN — Dorothy B. Roaden, 72, of Corbin, passed from this life on Aug. 21, 2013, at her home. She was born Aug. 15, 1941, in Harlan County. She was a member of Greenland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Roaden, her daughter Regina Tye, her parents Arthur and Vina Frost and her brother Robert Frost.

She is survived by her daughters, Shena (Verlin) Rose and Rhonda (Jeff) Wilder, both of Corbin; grandchildren, Justin (Angie) Rose, Jennifer (Michael) Petrey, Andrea (Craig) Ball, Megan (Steven) Murray, Abigail Tye and Zach Tye; great-granddaughters, Julia Ball, Morgan Murray and Kaelyn Petrey; sisters and brother, Margaret (Paul) Greene, Peggy (Bill) Johnson, Freda Grooms, Janice Lindsay, Michael Frost, Sheila Adkins and Kathy (Roger) Rich, all of Tenn., and a host of family and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Verlin Rose, Jeff Wilder, Justin Rose, Zach Tye, Michael Petrey, Steven Murray and Craig Ball; honorary pallbearers will be nephews.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
