Pauletta Harwood


Mrs. Pauletta Ruth Harwood, age 65, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at her home.

Pauletta entered into this life on Sept. 2, 1947 in Sebree, the daughter of Augusta Hodges and the late Earl Hodges. Pauletta worked as a Patient Transporter at Baptist Regional Medical Center, giving 11 years of dedicated service. She was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered for her love of cooking, gardening, her pets and most of all for the love she had for her family.

Pauletta will be lovingly remembered by her children, James M. Seibert (Keri), of Bellevue, Neb., and Ruth Dunlap (Eric), of Corbin; seven grandchildren, Frank Spratley, Derry Spratley, Michael Dunlap, Rebecca Dunlap, Nichole Clark, Megan Dunlap and Sarah Seibert; one great-grandchild, Easton Clark; her mother, Augusta Hodges, of Dolton, Ill.; two brothers, Joseph Hodges, of St. John, Ind., and Michael Hodges, of Dolton, Ill.; three sisters, Diana Zonta, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Joyce Togtman, of Lansing, Ill., and Carol Blankenship, of Dolton, Ill.

She is preceded in death by her father, Earl Hodges; her sister, Barbara Truffa, and her granddaughter, Jessica Dunlap.

All services are private and have been entrusted to the Corbin Funeral Home.
