Alice Stanfill

CORBIN — Mrs. Alice Faye Warren Stanfill, age 70, of Barbourville, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on Feb. 10, 1943, to the late Crit and Ethel Mills Warren and departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at home with her loving family. She was a member of Boone Height Holiness Church and enjoyed her church, traveling, crafts, fishing, shopping and especially time with her family.

In addition to her parents, a son: Eugene Horton; a daughter: Louise Broughton; her grandparents: William and Molly Mills; two brothers: Roy Warren and Earl Warren; a sister: Bonnie Warren; brother-in-law: Charles Wynn; and two great-grandsons: Jonathan Parks and Jayden Horton preceded her in death.

She is survived by her loving husband: Freddie Wayne Stanfill, of Barbourville; two daughters: Barbara Sickelsmith and husband David, of Corbin, and Joyce Tackett and husband Vic, of Williamsburg; two stepdaughters: Karyn Gunter and husband Arthur, of Decatur, Ind., and Amber Koster and husband Terry, of Goshen, Ind.; three stepsons: Justin Stanfill, of Goshen, Ind., Travis Stanfill, of Decatur, Ind., and Brett Stanfill, of South Bend, Ind.; a brother: Glen Warren and wife Ruth, of Barbourville; a sister: Ruby Wynn, of Swan Pond; a sister-in-law: Faye Warren, of Elkhart, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Faye Warren Stanfill will be conducted on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at 4 p.m. in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Henson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery in Girdler with Freddie Stanfill, Cory Jordan, Aaron Porter, Michael Hibbard and Dylan Hibbard serving as Pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Brick, Glen Warren and James Hibbard. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6:30-9 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to the funeral hour at 4 p.m.
