Rosemary Gast


TIMES TRIBUNE (CORBIN, Ky.)

CORBIN — Rosemary Hall Gast, age 80, of London, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born on Dec. 22, 1932, in Leslie County, the daughter of the late Shelby and Ozella Bowling Hall.

She is survived by her husband, Louis Gast, of London; four daughters: Brenda Miller and husband, Thomas, of Mt. Pleasant, Tenn., Sandra Collett and husband, Landry, of Leslie County, Connie Gast, of Chapel Hill, Tenn., and Judy Dannaoui and husband, Azzam, of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; two sisters: Edna Mae Collett, of London, and Bettie Fay Carrier, of Greenville, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Helen Sizemore and husband Nelson, one brother, Elbert Hall, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

She was a homemaker and a member of Frankfort Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel in London with James Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London.

The family will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Saturday.
