Everett Rose

CORBIN —

Everett Tye “Cobb” Rose, of Harps Creek Road, Siler, departed this life on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at the Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center in Williamsburg. He was 75 years, 6 months, and 27 days of age. He was born on July 3, 1937, in Whitley County, to the late Matt Rose and Amanda Sears Rose.

He is survived by four daughters, Wanda Lynn Bennett (Terry Joe), of Siler, Sandra Gail Wilson, of Williamsburg, Debbie Ann Partin (Mark), of Winfield, Tenn., and Brenda Lee Veach (Kenneth), of Rockholds; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Young (John), of Nevisdale; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Daniel Cupp officiating. He will be laid to rest in the R.C. Croley Cemetery.
