James Hutton Jr.


Mr. James C. Hutton Jr., age 61, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Saint Joseph London.

James entered into this life on March 25, 1951, in Barbourville, the son of James C. and Eliza Jane Smith Hutton, both of whom preceded him in death. He was united in marriage to the late Doris Hollingsworth Hutton and was a member of the Whippoorwill Pentecostal Church. He will be remembered for his love of fishing and growing roses.

James will be lovingly remembered by three children, Randy Hutton (Linda), of East Bernstadt; Terri Lynn Hutton, of London, and Brian Hutton (Amanda), of London; four stepchildren, Tina Nantz (Wayne), of Corbin, Janie Perry, of Pine Knot, Pam Love, of Jellico, Tenn., and David Love, of Florida; eight grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Clara Hendrickson (J.C.), of Grays; two sisters-in-law, Pauline and Judy Hutton; and a host of friends and neighbors.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Hollingsworth Hutton, his parents, James C. and Eliza Jane Smith Hutton, and brothers and sisters, Jarvis Hutton, Richard Hutton, Nannie Hutton, Paul Hutton and Chester Hutton.

 Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at 7 p.m. at the Corbin Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Lee officiating.

 Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. at the Corbin Funeral Home.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the James Hutton Burial Fund, c/o Corbin Funeral Home 1382 Cumberland Gap Parkway, Corbin, KY 40701.
