Etna Minnie Walters, of Williamsburg, departed this life on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was 69 years, 4 months, and 18 days of age. She was born on Aug. 19, 1943, in Whitley County, to the late Grant Lee Oscar Perry and Mary Elizabeth Jordan Perry. She was a member of the Redbird Baptist Church and attended the Star Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Ralph Walters, of Williamsburg; four children, Larry Branham (Cathy), of Strunk, Wilma White (Melvin), of Williamsburg, Kathy Perry (Russell), of Berea, and Teresa Stevens (Donald Petrey), of Williamsburg; four stepchildren, Debbie Inman (Earl), of Corbin, Tammy Walters, of Rockholds, Billie Joe Siler (Gary), of Rockholds, and Daniel Walters, of Corbin; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; 16 step-great grandchildren; sister, Ella Mae Wilder, of Corbin; one brother, Fred Perry, of Williamsburg; many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will be at noon Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Day, Rev. Dennie Roberts and Rev. Ancil Campbell officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Jellico Creek Cemetery.
