Jimmie Peace


Jimmie Dean Peace of Corinth Cemetery Road, Corbin, departed this life on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was 55 years, 2 months and 1 day of age. He was born on Nov. 1, 1957 in Panama Canal to Allie Edmonds and the late Joe Matt Peace.  

He is survived by his mother, Allie Edmonds Bowlin, and her husband, Harold, of Williamsburg; two sons, Jimmie Dean Mah and Corey James Peace, of Corbin; one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Peace Jennings (Patrick), of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, Kayla, Patrick, Alana and Andrew; one brother, Harold Clayton Bowlin Jr. of Corbin; three sisters, Nancy Trombley (John), of Corbin,  Debra Jean Wilson (Joe), of Corbin,  and Vickie Peace (Kelly), of Williamsburg; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be after 6  p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 1  p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Croley officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Rocksprings Cemetery in Gatliff.
